2 rescores for an Altered States scene

2 new scores from a same clip from Russell's movie Altered States (1980). The first one is the product of an attemp to TEMP the clip with some of my music. Temping means to put preexistent music to a clip . I selected the clip, with the help of David Spear, with a clear idea of some similitudes with the music (taken from my orchestra piece, From Hell) I finally temped but, for my surprise, the result was quite interesting and convincing. There are even a few points of synchronization, but what I found more interesting is how the character of the music adapts well with the surrealistic images:

After that I created a score specially for the clip, using sample libraries. In this case, the music punctuates a bit more what is happening to the images and provides another view to them. It's interesting to view how the perception of the time in the final section is different in both clips: in this second it seems much faster than the previous one.
